Since 2016, Lamparas Vivas Trust has walked beside families in Bangalore — enrolling children in school, giving women jobs, and helping men rebuild their livelihoods.

Our Purpose

We don't transform lives. We walk beside them.

A humane society; we envision a world of life. Reconciling the needs of human beings who share the earth and helping deprived families to experience life in its fullness.

We stand for the needy and give children the chance they could never get without assistance. We render help in little ways. Helping those with so little gives a feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction, so we offer help, financial assistance and support.

“Helping those with so little gives a feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction.”

Founder Portrait

The Founder

Rosemary M Salve

Founder, Lamparas Vivas Trust

Rose takes care of all the children as if they were her own. She is down-to-earth, honest, and humble in all that she does.

Since founding Lamparas Vivas Trust in 2016, Rose has personally overseen the enrollment of 57 children in schools, the rehabilitation of 31 women, and livelihood support for 20 men across Bangalore.

Her approach is not institutional — it is personal. She knows every name, every family, every story. For Rose, this work is not a profession. It is a calling.

“We render help in little ways. Sometimes, little ways are enough.”
